9/23/08:

Recently got the disappointing news that "Road Trip" will soon be going out of print. Sales, although steady, were not robust enough for my publisher to keep the book in stock. It will be "remaindered" which means that the remaining copies will be sold to volume discounters -- good for folks that don't like to pay full mark up, bad for authors who want to earn some cash money. ;c)

 

Thanks to everyone who bought the book. I really do appreciate your support and hope to have another title out soon.

3/18/08:

I'll be doing a reading and signing copies of "Road Trip" at the Northpark Elementary Bookfair. The dates are 3/26 - through 4/3 (primarily classroom visits on these dates) with the big Open House on 4/3 from 5:30p - 7:30p (open the public). Stop on by and say hi.

 

 

1/3/08:

Submitted the stage version of Road Trip to Samuel French, a well-respected publisher of plays. They say it can take anywhere from 12 weeks to a full year to make a decision so don't expect any updates anytime in the near future.

Still chugging away on the first draft of my novel "Leonard the Great". Word count as of this posting: 57,306. I'm expecting the final tally to be somewhere in the 65-75k range.

Friends of sillyroger.com will be saddened to hear of the passing of Crazy Cosmo, the only dog ever born with a nuclear reactor in place of a heart. Just short of 16 years old, he was a good boy and will be missed.
