ROAD TRIP

"Hi, this is Sean (age 6). I loved your book. We went on a road trip, too. And we did some of the stuff in the book. Mommy, Gammy, Daniel and I were in the car. We got gas first thing, and we had maps. We saw a lot of farms in Illinois, Nebraska, Ohio, Colorado, Iowa, Kansas, Indiana and Missouri. We had bugs on our window. We had one that stuck so much, Gammy called it a “glue worm!” We played a license plate game, too – but different from the one in the book. I learned a lot about the States and where they are. We stopped at places to eat. Gammy’s name is Ruth, too! I got sick to my stomach, but it was from food poisoning. And I needed to go to the bathroom. We saw corn fields. In Ohio we saw some woods. Gammy told me a story about getting lost in the woods in Ohio. We stayed at a hotel with a pool, I got to swim a little bit. I slept on the floor! We saw billboards in Kansas – there sure is a lot to do in Kansas! We didn’t stop at any of them. And I said “are we there, yet?” Mommy said “NO!” Sometimes Mommy said “yes, we’re here” but we were still in the middle of nowhere! We didn’t have a reunion, we went to a wedding, but we did reminisce. I got to meet my cousins. And driving back seemed twice as far. I was happy to be home! I don’t want to take another road trip!! Maybe in a long time – when I’m older."

"... we LOVE the book!! Ann Marie and I enjoyed it, then I shared it with Timothy. It reminds me so much of our childhood vacations driving to OH/IN and IL, except my Dad didn't smile much when packing/driving the car. hehe The pictures combined with the poetic touch makes ROAD TRIP fun and realistic. When we traveled, before seatbelts were enforced, we'd play in the back of our station wagon most of the drive. Ahhhhh, those were the days!!"

NONSENSE! HE YELLED

"This clever and charming book gets two thumbs up from my husband and me. Having written and illustrated children's books ourselves, we're always checking out new releases. We found "Nonsense, He Yelled" to be original, whimsical and a lot of fun -- and that's no nonsense!"
--Julie McNally Cahill, Co-Creator "My Gym Partner's a Monkey" on Cartoon Network

***

"Roger Eschbacher's new book "Nonsense! He Yelled" is sheer delight... whimsical, fun and clever. The illustrations by Adrian Johnson are equally imaginative. My two boys, ages six and ten, highly recommend this children's book.
Afterall, couldn't we all use a little more
nonsense in our lives?"

Hope you don't mind, but I'd like to ask you a favor...If it turns out my books are popular in your household, please consider writing a positive review on either Amazon.com or Barnes & Noble.com (or both!). You'd be amazed at how helpful this is as there's nothing like a good personal recommendation from a satisfied "customer". Thanks!
