No, not the Western Grower's Association. This is the website for the Writer's Guild of America west. There's plenty of interesting articles that deal primarily with the art of writing for film and television.
This is where it all started for me. The Groundlings are an excellent improv/comedy troupe that has supplied a lot of talented actors, writers, and producers to the entertainment industry. Having to perform my own scripts in front of a live audience gave me the ability to ruthlessly edit written material down to "what works". Check out the site for info on famous alums, classes, and show times.
